Who we are
More than 100 years building the circular economy.
Trienekens is a German multinational whose experience in waste management served as a basis for the development of German environmental legislation — and, by extension, of European regulations. Today the group operates in Europe and South-East Asia, with its Southern European headquarters in Bizkaia. It designs, builds and operates treatment facilities, covering the complete cycle: from engineering to the circular economy.

Trienekens GmbH
The group's parent company, headquartered in Germany. More than 100 years of experience in waste management and industrial plant engineering. Its processes contributed to the development of German environmental legislation and, by extension, of European regulations.
Basque Country headquarters
Trienekens País Vasco
The group's operational headquarters in Spain. Management of industrial and resource operations at scale, with experience in complex contracts and in-depth knowledge of the regulatory environment in the Basque Country.
Waste Management
Beotibar Recycling
Company specialising in the reception, sorting and recovery of industrial and municipal waste. It has state-of-the-art technology for materials treatment and a benchmark processing capacity in northern Spain.
Packaging sorting
BZB
BZB is an advanced lightweight packaging sorting plant located in Bizkaia. It is the first facility in Spain capable of sorting ten different fractions and an example of public-private collaboration between Garbiker and Trienekens, combining public recycling strategy with industrial expertise in plant operations.
International operations
Trienekens Malaysia
The group's extension in South-East Asia, with waste management and environmental engineering operations. It works to the same technical and quality standards as the rest of the group's companies, meeting the growing demand for environmental infrastructure in the region.
Engineering
T&L Engineering
Engineering applied to the planning, management and monitoring of industrial and environmental projects. It brings the group's technical capabilities into the design and execution phases, ensuring the feasibility of each project and compliance with the applicable standards.
